We spent 4 nights at Langdale Boutique Hotel and our experience was simply unbeatable! From the moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of, and the service was outstanding – from the reception team to the waiters, the chef, and every single member of the staff. The hotel itself is idyllic, the perfect place to enjoy a honeymoon or simply relax by the heated pool while admiring the endless tea plantations around. Without a doubt, this is a spectacular accommodation that we would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for everything – we are eternally grateful for these unforgettable days.

A newly built cute little family owned place. The mom and son are new to hosting guests and were very dedicated to making us feel comfortable. They welcomed us with tea and cake. They were very sweet and the place was comfortable. It is very conveniently located close to a tea estate. 10 minutes walk to the railway station and a 15-minute leisurely walk to Nanu Oya Falls. The place is also away from the touristy area and so you get an authentic view into the daily life of locals. The locals were also very friendly, and everyone would smile and wave. The mom got up very early next morning to make us a cup of tea and see us off as we were boarding the first train to Colombo.

An amazing find. Spectacular location with incredible views over the valley. Hosts Kasun & Chathu were fabulous- went out of their way to help us with so many things. Amazing hospitality and Chathu a wonderful cook. The house and rooms are luxurious.

The room is clean and Wi-Fi works. The owner is kind and will prepare dinner if necessary. They'll take my order. It seems that Japanese come here occasionally. The train seen from this inn is very beautiful.

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality during our stay at Grounders River Cabin. The staff went out of their way to look after us and decorated the room with rose petals and love hearts for our honeymoon. The dinner was lovely, authentic Sri Lankan style and the room was clean, we had all we needed. We had the most perfect view of the river below and the constant sound of the river made for a wonderful sleep. Special thanks to the wonderful owner for taking us to the train station in the morning!
