There is a great variety of experiences on offer which for us as an older group included canoeing, swimming at blue lagoons 3 and 4, enjoying the restaurants in the town particularly Happy Mango, walking up Nam Xay Viewpoint, tubing and paramotoring. We managed to fill in the 3 days with a walking, climbing hills and exploring some easily accessible caves. Many of the activities are designed for young people so apart from what we did, there is not much else to do. 2 days enough. Having been twice before, it is in a sad state, if it wasn't for the adventure stuff, the town would be no more. So incredibly sad to see the decline. Once a beautiful place, now , dirty, dusty, overflowing with litter and rubbish. Hotel itself located in the center of town. Reserved some tours with hotel, all were good. Quick laundry and very clean.
