Ureshino is famous for the green tea and the onsen. The Ureshino Tea Exchange musuem is 100% worth a visit and don't forget to drink a tea in the cafe! It is amazing quality and very cheap (300 yen for 1 tea) Then I would also recommend Fuji restaurant, they make great Okonomiyake, Yakisoba and many more dishes! Staff is amazing! A very relaxing stay with in-room onsen, the public bath is good too. Ureshino is a country town we stayed in while traveling around japan. It was so simple, quiet and cute. It was the perfect spot in the middle of everything and the JR rail stations went everywhere so it was perfect. The hotel is conveniently located near the station with different shops nearby. There is a 24 hour supermarket if you need to grab anything. Free parking available just outside of the hotel entrance. The room is very spacious with good layout.
