Although they disappointed me at first because they canceled my reservation without prior warning due to a mixup with my bank I must say the staff were incredibly helpI don’t think it was because of the misunderstanding I think that this is their way. STOP your endless scrolling, CLOSE all your tabs, and BOOK this hotel now! It was so unbelievably good that when my partner and I returned to Tokyo later in our trip, we literally canceled our existing reservation just to come back here. I can’t overstate how perfect everything was: the design feels straight out of a futuristic film - from the sleek lobby to the stunning rooms with mesmerizing views, and even the building itself, which rises like a lighthouse over Shibuya. The location speaks for itself. The gym was slick, the breakfasts indulgent, and the overall vibe unmatched. I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Tokyo. As a cherry on top, my partner celebrated his birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it truly unforgettable.

Great location, staff was super attentive to my since the moment I arrive to their lobby to the moment I left. I accidentally left something in the room and they found it even if they can’t send it back since it’s a power bank. Still grateful they went above for me. They have a lounge for the evening with drink and small snacks that’s a nice touch.

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Enjoyed our stay, was able to go to the places we wanted to. However, not the best time to visit places with vistas of Mt. Fuji as weather was mostly rainy and cloudy during our stay. So the volcano was not visible.

There's so much to do.

There's so much to do. We've been multiple times and still need to go back to do more. The kids loved Teamlab Planets, Disneyland and Disneysea, Harry Potter studio tour, animal cafes, food and shopping. We spent a lot of time at Skytree because there's great shopping underneath. Getting around on the train is really easy using google maps.

We didn't spend long in Tokyo this trip, only a night at each end of the trip, however we have spent longer on earlier trips. Tokyo is an enormous busy place and there is much to see there, but try to avoid traveling on the metro at busy times if you can. You can find something to suit almost any interest in a big city like this.

I managed to achieve a couple of my objectives but missed out on one other experience I particularly wanted to do. Tokyo is a great city with so much to do and see. But you need to energy to get around a massive city with huge numbers of people in train stations that aren't easy to navigate. Their train system is amazing but takes a lot of effort to master - even the locals have problems.

We only stayed 2 nights at the end of our 2 week Japan trip. Anymore than that would not have been possible with 2 kids and suitcases. It was quite small. Bonus was that we were in a quiet area in walking distance to Jingumae and Shibuya. My husband loves baseball and the hotel, being near sports stadiums, overlooks the baseball field where you can watch an entire game or walk to the game itself, which we did. It’s also close to a cool park, Meiji park, with a playground and cafes. There’s a family mart and cafe downstairs in the lobby.

The staff are fantastic and so welcoming. They helped us with multiple things during our stay and their kindness was really appreciated. The room was good and had everything we needed. The location is really fun in Akabane with lots of Izakaya's and restaurants walking distance from the hotel. You are also only a short ride on the JR lines to all parts of Tokyo. Get yourself to the Koenji and Shimokitazawa areas as they are great fun and not full of tourists like Shinjuku and Shibuya.

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk for a train station that will take you to Shibuya, Shinjuku and every place in the center of Tokyo. The neighbourhood itself is quite and not so close to the city center, but has everything you need - restaurants, shops and more. 7/11 is right across the street of the hotel.
