The accommodation and facilities were lovely. The foot onsen was a real bonus after a big day's walk. Everything was well organized and the customer service was excellent. Our late arrival was accommodated on last minute's notice. We had a beautiful and delicious dinner which was conveniently prepared for us. The tent and the site had everything we needed including a firepit and a wonderful view.

Massive house with plenty of space. Very clean, lots of amenities, great balconies. Great location literally right opposite the train station.

This beautiful preserved building holds many stories and you can feel it when you sit in the still courtyard with a view of the misty mountains. Careful consideration has been put into curating the space to make it feel homey and calm. Fukuta Yasuhiro (the host) shared local wine and sake with us in the charming kitchen and we all gained more insight into the history of the Nakesendo trail. I wish we could have stayed longer. Kampei!

A beautiful period house, fully refurbished and renovated inside. The property had everything you need and more. Spacious and peaceful, located in a tranquil part of the Nakasendo trail.

We really enjoyed staying at Tsumago tei, a wonderful accommodation, well equipped, it had everything we needed and more. A great location close to the station that was perfect to continue our trek along the Nakesendo Trail.
