The people who ran Hotel 46 were super lovely, and very helpful. They received my suitcase for me before I got there. I needed to catch a train the next morning, the owner had his son pick me up to take me to the train. Super kind people.

This is a very clean two bedrooms house that can accomodate a family. Everything you may need is there. Detailed instructions about checking in and out were provided. Car park is available on site. We only spent one night after wondering around Koyasan all day. I highly recommend this property if you want to stay in the area. Good value for money, a lot of space and very clean. Thank you for the hospitality.

The host gave very detailed instructions including photos to help find the property, which is tucked away behind other buildings up a steep hill. The property was spacious with views over the valley. There were plenty of extra futon cushions to make sleeping on the tatami comfortable. The sitting area upstairs had a table and chairs and also a lovely view. Downstairs was floor seating and a very low couch with many cushions and two beanbag chairs as well as a kotatsu table for warmth, though heating was adequate. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were drip coffee bags, tea, and basic condiments as well as oil. The restaurant next door was exceptional and fun!

Wonderful immediate surroundings and lots to explore in the area. Gojo is a nice little town surrounded by nature and all facilities you might need. We had our own little rental car making it easy to get around. When you have to rely on public transportation your options are more limited. Property itself was very nice with nice facilities and all taken care of wonderfully by Miyuki.
