You can get to Tanuki Koji in about 30 minutes by foot and if it rains you can walk underground. The public baths are amazing, and the staff is super friendly. We stayed in the premium room which was quite spacious. The room was clean and comfortable. The view is very nice. The lounge was ok. Selections of food was limited. The staff were helpful but speak very little of English.

The room is fantastic for couples. It was spacious, warm, and quiet. The humidifier was great. The separation of the bath and WC is a nice layout. The kitchen has a full-sized fridge, microwave, and gas range so we could cook breakfast easily. There was a huge closet with a set of drawers. We could store our suitcases so they did not get in our way. It was easy to access the subway (3 minutes away) and the JR trains were only about a 10 minute walk away.
