A short disclaimer: as soon as we arrived at night, the first impression was not great because right beside the property there is a very rough-looking building and it was a bit dark. But it was just a first impression from the neighboring structure. The property itself is very clean, cozy and comfortable. The hosts, a son and a mother (and whisky, the dog), are very attentive and kind, and did everything in their power to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are big and the beds super comfortable. Breakfast is simple but good quality items, such as fresh croissants and fruit. Moreover, the amenities were all well chosen. Giovanni was kind and helped us secure a dinner reservation at a fantastic place in Sorano, a town nearby. He was also accommodating to a late check in and very helpful with everything. Plus, whisky the dog was a lovely bonus to our stay.

Beautiful property and view. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They made us a delicious multi-course dinner from all foods grown on their farm. A great place to stay for a group of friends, a family reunion or even a company event. Loved it!

Very, very nice house, with even nicer hosts. The Sforza House has an important location at a stretch of the Via Francigena where there aren't many other accommodations on offer. Nearest place to go and have a meal is 4 km, but our host very kindly made a delicious dinner for us with their home grown produce, complete with explanation in italian. ... and a nice breakfast; this is a place not to be missed!

It was absolutely charming ! Located in the beautiful countryside, easy driving to Orvieto and other towns, it was the perfect place for a restful stay. The food was wonderful. I got an excellent massage at the spa. Rita and her whole staff were helpful and gracious.
