We enjoyed Praiano immensely and would make that our home base if we were ever to come back. We found a few very nice restaurants with lovely staff and delicious food. Went down the 400 hundred steps to the lovely beach with aqua blue water. Getting around is a bit of a challenge with all the steps. We enjoyed the challenge. Praiano is away from the hustle and bustle of Positano - pretty much unspoiled by tourists. It’s small and quiet but that adds to the beauty and charm of the place. There are still lots of locals there who you will see on a daily basis. They are so friendly and welcoming. The views are outstanding. Favourite places to eat included Bar del Sole (great aperitivo) Le Strada for lemon pasta and Che Bonta for pizza. Praiano is beautiful, quaint, and not as busy or touristy compared to Positano, yet still close enough to get there to enjoy that pace. This is great for travellers who don't want to be right in the thick of it and want something a little more peaceful.
