We stayed in Casa Vacanze for 2 nights, everything was perfect. A nice, cozy and spacious apartment, comfortable bed and great location away from the hustle, close to the beach and the old town. The owner Antonella was very nice and answered our question via phone very fast and helped us out with our requests.

The building is from the 800s so ancient but the interior remodelling is really beautifully done and modern. A simple bright, bedroom with high ceilings and very nicely finished. Nice shower and comfortable bed. Well insulated so you hardly hear the traffic adjacent to it. Good amount of free parking on site. Good AC. The owner doesn’t speak any English. There is a pedestrian underpass across the road and a 5 minute walk to a great little private sandy beach. Gorgeous protected spot.

A beautiful ancient town in Calabria with an ancient atmosphere, wonderful views of the sea, Stromboli and the sunset and not yet so affected by tourism. Right in the town a small but sufficient and beautiful beach, the best swimming far and wide. Excellent accessibility by train from Lamezia or Tropea (.... unless there is a strike or other outage :-o) Tartufo and ice cream at Gelateria Morino are not to be missed!! Very beautiful and refreshing are the two functional fountains in the city center.

This was our first stop after arriving from an overnight...

This was our first stop after arriving from an overnight flight from Toronto. We stayed just one night before heading out on our travels along the coast of Calabria. Glad we got to experience the beauty of Pizzo, including a visit to Murat Castle and the fascinating ancient Church of Piedigrotta carved into the rocks and its stone statues. There is a nice beach in front of the church too where people were swimming and sun bathing. Parking is at the top for both at 5 euros for an hour or 10 for longer. The town square is full of tartufo and gelato shops. The seafront is lined with restaurants for dining.

Great apartment close to city Centre and beach. We only stayed one night as we were in transit to Sicily and wanted to stay and check out Pizzo. We should have stayed longer and enjoyed the beautiful clear water. I recommend you consider this apartment it is very nice and well appointed.

the main square was pedestrianised and also the way to it from our accommodations was free of traffic. The people are really friendly and the food is fantastic. A must see in my view, better than Tropea.

Accomodation was close to beach, cafes, restuarants and the central plaza of Pizzo. Pizzo is a quite but lively place without the crowds. Pizzo is locaton on a cliff so walking can be a problem for people with difficulties. Best gelato in Italy, great restuarants with seafood. We found everyone to be very helpful with informaiton. It is easy to walk around Pizzo except if you have difficutlies walking as the town is located on the side of a cliff and it is steep. Transport from the town to the marina is very expensive.

Pizzo is a lovely authentic town, the beach area is lovely but note it’s very steep and if arriving from the train station get in a tuk tuk, the roads have no pavements and quite windy- to be expected from an authentic place but if we had known we would have got the tuk tuk. Try Piccolo BBB down on the low road - gorgeous place, food excellent and surroundings 2nd to none.

Wonderful experience in Pizzo. Magic sea wiew from terasa, authentic house dizain and quite beautiful place in old town. Host Franco is the best, he loves what he do, and we can feel this, Franco made our holidays incredible and happy, He care about us all the time, he did amazing tour in the old town of Pizzo for us, he prepeare local food and we tasted wine together, he answered to all our questions with a big attention.We will come back with a pleasure and will invite our friends to stay in this unbelievable hospitality.

The hotel was really nice! We received a free room upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. Since we were arriving late in the evening, they even filled up the fridge with all our requested items. It made our stay so much more comfortable, and we really appreciated the special touches they provided. However, there were a few areas that could be a bit cleaner, like the jacuzzi. Overall, it was a great experience!

Beautiful bed and breakfast in the heart of old town Pizzo. The balcony views are wonderful and give you a delightful view on the sea and the sunset. The accommodation is in perfect state and everything is clean and neat. The host and her friend are very kind and the communication is excellent.
