Gera Lario is a small village a bit removed from some of the busier tourist areas of Lake Como. Although you could swim anywhere along the lakeside, there is no comfortable swimming beach for families. The village has only a few restaurants and no significant grocery shops. We loved the house, the garden, the location and especially the care with which Roberta and Alessio look after their house and surroundings. We would love to come back again to this amazing spot filled with ‘love’! The beach is at walking distance, the best pizza place of the lake is around the corner (Pizzeria Spluga). It was great that the kitchen is very well quipedded, sleeping room stays cold during day and at night quiet, perfect to rest & sleep, as it's not directly at the main street of Lario. Whole flat was clean. There are a couple of bars and restaurants nearby in walking distance. The flat owner Andrea & Marina are very friendly and if necassery help any time.
