We absolutely loved Borgo Petroro for many reasons - it's fabulous location in the middle of the beautiful, quiet Umbrian countryside, it's amazing historical and clean visual appeal, the relaxing garden and other lovely areas to sit, the bikes to hire for a wonderful safe ride with amazing views, the great breakfast with plenty of variety, the castle cat, our enormous suite, the most enjoyable evening meals and the very attentive, friendly restaurant manager Mansour!!

This place is very beautiful! We would even like to stay for longer. Pool is beautiful. Assigned sun beds. Stunning views from the room and by the pool. Good variety of food for breakfast (you need to order from them staff to get more options). Delicious dinner. Staff very friendly and helpful. We also booked wine tasting as they have their own winery which we totally recommend. Room was specious and clean. Short drive to Todi.

The farmhouse is old, authentic, and full of charm. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and the new pool offers a breathtaking view. Our room was spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts, Luis and Federico, are a wonderful couple – kind, warm, and attentive. The service was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and generous – the perfect way to start the day. *A must-visit if you’re staying in Umbria. We will definitely return!*

So comfortable! Lovely decorated room and bathroom, like from a magazine. Super comfy bed and shower. Unbelievable view. Perfect location, just several steps from town square. Awesome to see such an old building from the inside like this, after wandering through the tiny little streets wondering what's behind the doors! Owner was very kind and helped us park for free within the ztl zone with their permit. He recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner and it was spot on!

    The staff was outstanding-they really took care of us. The hotel itself is beautiful -location, building, furniture, design all exceeded expectations. We used the spa facilities and they were wonderful and reasonably priced. Dinner was also excellent, one of the best meals we had during our trip.
