The Penthouse apartment was fantastic!! Superb views..one side ocean-view, the back-side Apuan Mountains. The wrap-around balcony is huge..we sun-bathed on the nice lounge chairs..The apartment is very modern and classy. Everything worked very well in the apartment, TV, Wi-Fi, kitchen appliances, bed was really comfortable. You are in town, great restaurants just a minute or two away, the beach is also within a 3-4 minute walk. Highly recommend. Giulio was super helpful with overview of the apartment as well as advice on the local street markets and made our stay even better. Thank you!!

We chose to visit Carrara primarily for its renowned marble quarries and vibrant sculpture scene. If you have an interest in these arts, Carrara certainly offers a rich experience. The city itself is bustling, focusing largely on the industry that revolves around marble. Aside from this, Carrara might not offer the typical tourist attractions. However, its coastal section presents a more traditional tourist experience with beautiful views and some leisure activities. For visitors whose interests align more with cultural and industrial heritage, especially related to marble and sculpting, Carrara is an exceptional destination. For others, it might require a bit more exploration to uncover its charms.

Carrara is just stunning but best to go if you’re someone who loves to hike and walk a lot! Gorgeous place with amazing views, quaint restaurants, tiny street shops and markets open on weekdays only.

Small but friendly town.

Small but friendly town. Please note that on Friday night all the restaurants in the center are reserved and none accepts that a tourist wants to have dinner at 8.30 pm. Even after looking around I couldn't find a single restaurant that would accept to serve me. Although they continue with empty tables waiting for reservations. Never again and be careful it's a beautiful city to see and leave in 2 hours.

I spent only one night in Carrara with the goal to visit Carrara Marble Tour. The tour was super interesting, I would definitely recommend the tour. I enjoyed the walks in the area of Piazza Alberica. It is interesting to see the usage of marble in the city. I had a dinner at Osteria la Piazza and I would recommend the place.

What can I say our host Margherita was so welcoming and informative, property is out of this world to be honest we were blown away, all the staff were really nice, breakfast amazing, secure car parking, great location, this property was truly the best an excellent way to end our time in Italy, our only regret is that we didn’t book another night here
