Cannero Riviera is a quiet spot on the shores of Lake Maggiore in a perfect position for sightseeing trips around the lake , including into Switzerland, both by car and by boat. It is served by a very picturesque foot passenger ferry terminal. For such a small place there are plenty of eating options including restaurants, pizza places and gelateria but limited options for shopping. However that need not be a problem as there are great weekly markets at Connobio and Luino both of which can be reached from Cannero by ferry. A lovely relaxed hotel, beautiful room & balcony. All the staff were delightful. Outside eating & drinks beside the lake were very special. Situated on a quiet lakeside situation, no busy traffic. Superb location, right on the lake, with it's own little boat giving mini cruises. Our room was superb with its own spacious balcony, wonderful big bed, and a great bathroom. The pool area was beautiful. Parking was accessible and easy. The food was tasty and authentic. Staff were always helpful and polite.
