Very clean and spacious, located in a peaceful area, nice location that suited very well to explore both Florence but also the Tuscany villages. The ancient Certaldo, which is very beautiful and with nice restaurants, is also very close.

The cleanliness is excellent, and I’m very particular about that. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The restaurant menu is delicious—I tried most of the dishes during my stay. Chef Ahmed is world-class, and his dishes are outstanding. Finally, the hotel is located inside the castle, and the security is top-notch. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience.

Highly recommend this old Palazzo in superb location very close to the north end of San Gimignano at Porta San Matteo. We stayed in a spacious room with shared facilities at a good price. The furnishings are very grand & charming. We really appreciated the kind receptionists who went out of their way to help us. Their suggestion for dinner at Il Feudo was perfect 👌
