We had a family room with a mountain view. I loved the horses in the parks right next to the accommodation, the pictures and drawings of horses all over the walls... It's the perfect place for horse riding (although we found the price for the ride rather expensive, we were delighted to go as a private group). You have a real whirlpool bath with the accomodation (and not just a simple hot bath as sometimes referred to in Iceland as a hot tub). The establishment is spacious and clean. A little away from the main road (N1).

This property is 6 km from the Route 1 Ring Road. Free slippers, a bathrobe, and use of the summer outdoor swimming pool in Hótel Húni's rooms.

Big spacious rooms, large communal kitchen, can walk around. Place with a lot of character as it used to be a school building earlier. There is a hot water tub as well, but we missed it. In a dark place, so we were able to see Aurora right from a window!

North West is located in Víðidalstunga, right off Iceland's Ring Road. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a seating area and a private bathroom with shower.

A road-side, motel style hotel with some nice provisions to make a tea or of coffee for your trip. The downstairs part has a restaurant which was super convenient because we arrived in the evening. Nice room with a very nice view!

Modern and smells like new. Close to the main road. The stunning view. The only one cottage in Iceland that had a good enough size for us. The rest were too small. Good coffee machine like at home.

I would rate this property even higher if I could. It's places like this that make you experience the country the best way possible. The stay was great with all necessary things. The hosts were super welcoming and had a lot of beautiful horses that we managed to meet :) We really enjoyed this place and strongly recommend it! The view from the rooms is just spectacular.

Spacious comfortable room and best private bathroom facilities of our entire 1 week trip. Communal kitchen was clean and well stocked with utensils. Beautiful outlook over the lake. Best stay we've had! Quick note: approx 5km of gravel road driving to the property but was very manageable with our 2wd.
