Fantastic and peaceful place with the sea view. You can enjoy the sound of the waves on the terrace. Very clean, staff is very professional and helpful. From one side it’s calm and quiet place very near the beach, from other side you can find big amount of different restaurants and shops in 10 min on tuk tuk or 15-20 min walking along the beach.

Situated in Varkala, 400 metres from Varkala Beach, Sajjoys features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a terrace.

All was above expectations. A perfect location, comfortable rooms, and incredibly friendly staff who seem to enjoy working there. Shout out to Deepu, the great chef Sunil and Dr Dera for organising a most excellent Ayeurvedic massage on site and the security guard for getting a tuk-tuk organised and keeping rancìd dogs at bay!Also, given our late departure a room was made available by Mr Praveen post- check out at no extra cost. Although it may seem a little pricey, it is excellent value. A perfect way to round off our stay in Kerala.

We loved the calm and peaceful location. This quality hotel has beautiful gardens and a pleasant outlook over the lake The staff were very attentive ensuring that our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay at Flower Hill Cottage. The room exceeded our expectations, with a super comfortable bed, a fantastic bathroom featuring a double shower and rainwater head, and excellent water pressure. There were even many options for lighting the room from led strips, spotlights and lamps. There was plenty of storage for clothes and toiletries, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the beach from our balcony, though the heat kept us from spending too much time out there. The air conditioning was much appreciated. Our host, Abhilash, ensured we had a hearty breakfast and everything we needed. The staff on the grounds were also very friendly and accomodating. The newly renovated cottage is located a little further from the shops and restaurants, making it wonderfully quiet, yet a short 10-minute walk along the coastline takes you to many cafes, restaurants, and gift shops. We had a great stay and wished we could have stayed longer—next time! :)

Beautiful property, very well designed with lots of green space and individual separated rooms for maximum privacy. Aesthetically pleasing design for rooms with well kept and clean interior. Location is superb as well, nice clean beach on the front and beautiful backwater lake on the back and is walking distance from mangroves canoe ride activity. Very serene and peaceful. The owner Prashanth is an amazing host and a great guy, gave us a free upgrade and went above and beyond in his hospitality. A great place to vacation.

Tiny Temple is a rare gem set back from a quiet section of 'the strip' close to Black Beach. Swati, the host, couldn't be sweeter. He was really helpful and made us feel completely at home. The location and view from the rooftop/deck is unbeatable and the price was totally reasonable (we were there just before 'high' season). New Wifi is being installed which will be the cherry on top! Another perk was the fine folks at Elina's Clifftop Restraunt (next door) who were really accommodating and even offered room/rooftop service. My daughter and I took a risk on a spot without reviews and in this case we're so glad we did. Can't recommend it highly enough.
