Stayed in this property for 2 nights. Went almost 100s Hotels Across All countries for BT Purposes, but the stay here were so much comfortable. From the Front Office Staff, Watchman everyone were so Friendly I felt like Family. Highly Recommended for Everyone. So next time I’m planning to take my family here for sure. It was very good.

It was very good. The timing was excellent and my family enjoyed the stay. Had to plan the trips in Kodai (especially need to start early in the day to beat the traffic at the attractions during this season) Didnt have much attraction for the very Youngr kids apart from the attraction of any new place and food.

Narrow roads good driving skills required also bit difficult to get parking space at the tourist spots. Overall, a nice tourist place with beautiful scenic spots. Road to moir point is one way, follow the route Kodai Lake to Green valley view to Pillars rock to Guna caves to Pine forest to Moirs point route.

Coaker's walk has awesome view, rose garden is very beautifully maintained. Vatakanal falls are a beautiful sight to our eyes. Kodaikanal is very peaceful and beautiful place to visit. Near Pillar rock we had green tea, it was so good Please try. I really liked the rose garden and Kodaikanal lake. We are in Pure veg Hiltop hotel, worth to eat.

The main town and especially all the attractions were packed...

The main town and especially all the attractions were packed with loud tourists even during the weekdays in April. I didn't end up enjoying any of the tourist attractions because of the unruly tourists! It's best to avoid the tourist spots if you are looking for some peace and quiet. I enjoyed my stay and food at a homestay/resort which was a bit away from the centre, so it was enjoyable there and also just the nature and villages around. Taxis to go around can be pricey if you are a solo traveller. Would recommend Astoria restaurant for local Indian meals, the cafe Ten Degrees for the vibes and the main course but the dessert there was awful and unnecessarily pricey !

Few sight seeing points were worth watching.

Few sight seeing points were worth watching. Two to three nights stay is enough to explore Kodaikanal. Our favorite spots were GUNA caves, Pillar Rocks, Kodaikanal Lake (because boating provides awesome views), Pine Forest, Mannavanur Lake, Rabbit & Sheep Farming, Moir Point. Local Cab driver whom we hired for a day for local sight seeing informed Bear Shola falls closed for tourists so we didn't visit the same but not sure whether the information was correct or not. As per our experience, please don't hire local taxi for sight seeing as they charge very high (Rs. 2,000/- per day) in the name of showing 12-13 sight seeing spots but at the end of the day will show actually only 6-7 (almost half against what was actually committed) so we were highly disappointed towards the local sight seeing experience through local cabs.

Really liked the hospitality of the staffs in the hotel. Food served in buffet is good. Special mention to Samrat and Angshuman in staff as they were really helpful and superb at guest service. Rooms were clean. View from the rooms is awesome. Only had some problem with washroom water for sometime but that got sorted. Overall, liked the stay in Avadale and would prefer to stay again if I visit kodaikanal in future. Cheers, keep us the good work!!
