We had a wonderful short stay at Parijat Cottages in Dandeli. The experience was truly memorable! The cottages are designed like charming huts nestled amidst lush greenery, offering a perfect balance of nature and comfort. Despite the rustic ambiance, they come with all modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The campus is thoughtfully equipped with a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a kids' play area, making it ideal for families. In the evening, the bonfire added a magical touch to our experience. My child especially enjoyed the serene surroundings and activities, which made the trip even more delightful for our family. The staff was courteous and attentive, making sure our needs were well taken care of.

The host Mr Noval was really professional in making the guests comfortable. The cottages are well designed to provide all the basic amenities like AC, Water heater & Cupboards. The food was delicious and sumptuous. The Logo is really attractive. The room boys were really helpful & patient to make the guests feel homely.

    Firstly we went off season in the rains and used the Dandeli...

    Firstly we went off season in the rains and used the Dandeli stopover as a one night break enroute to Goa. However Dandeli is a very interesting town and we are excited to go back and try the water and adventure sports in season. We explored the crocodile park and took in an early morning jungle safari in Kali Tiger reserve. Both were good, and recommended. There are varied food options in the small town and we tried a biryani and one meal at our homestay itself.

    The staff were pleasant, the room was clean & the Wi-Fi good. Unfortunately the room was small, there was no hot water & the mattress was rock hard. There was no proper sheets on the bed, just the coloured mattress cover & a thick blanket.

    For myself, I was coming back to Dandeli after 50 years.

    For myself, I was coming back to Dandeli after 50 years. I had stayed in Dandeli for 2 years from May 1974 when there were only about 3 or 4 lodging houses and food was always from the wayside eateries. Today, Dandeli has so many resorts and small restaurants everywhere. One thing that hasn't changed is the greenery around and the paper mill smells in the mornings.

    I went to the resort on Apr 22 2023 , Booking.com confirmed...

    I went to the resort on Apr 22 2023 , Booking.com confirmed my reservations for 2 rooms 5 days ago. They charged me reservation fee of Rs 1800 They sent me confirmation emails and WhatsApp confirmations . I call the Booking .com agent before I travelled from Hubli to Dandeli , she said that my reservation is confirmed . I reached there with my parents and uncle ( senior citizens), the person in charge there said they had no rooms to give and my name wasn’t on the list , he dialed a phone number of the property owner , the owner said Booking.com was told not to confirm any reservations as they were fully booked . The booking .com agent didn’t pick up the call or answer any WhatsApp messages thereafter . I’m still waiting for the return of the registration money . We had to return back to Hubli , very disappointing the conduct of Booking.com and the customer care .

    Dandeli is one of the best place.

    Dandeli is one of the best place. Day 1 Ulavi channabasaveshwar temple, at 4 pm catch jungle safari at kulgi village, 600/- for adults, very rare to tiger but peacock, deer, pig, sunset point, Day 2 water sport activities, like water rafting, boating, kayaking, n more at Ganeshgudi, in Ganesh river flow is extreme so if you are fearing to take water sports here goto Moulangi Eco park. Day 3 Morning early goto Dandeli Timber Depot for walking, Bird watching best place to see Hornbill Bird, There are two bridges for Kali river in city outskirts there also we can see beautiful birds like Hornbill. Moulangi Eco park this place is good for family boating, Go kart car race, After Moulangi, goto crocodile 🐊 park, honey farm park, Day 4 Sykes point at Ambikanagar but getting permission is very difficult they so we didn't visit Best days to visit is October to January Local hotels are not good

    This was my first ever visit to Dandeli.

    This was my first ever visit to Dandeli. Have done some serious travel in the western ghats but this one was unique. Road condition from Hubli to Dandeli was pretty good, except in some patches. The scenic splendour is something to be seen to be believed. The road runs amidst thick jungle on both sides. And the people are extremely polite and friendly in nature. The property owner, Mr. Shreesha Rao was extremely helpful and cordial and even arranged a visit to his areca nut farm. Enroute, did a bit of offloading which was quite exciting although we did not find any wildlife save a peacock and some der. Overall, a truly wonderful experience and planning a repeat visit soon.
