Wicklow is a historic town and still an operating harbour, in the vicinity of the Wicklow mountains. There's plenty of interest in the town, including the harbour area including the Black Tower, and the Old Gaol museum. There's pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes - I ate at the Blue seafood restaurant on the quay and it was excellent.
