The place was very well kept. The restaurant/ bar were very good and the servers were very friendly and fun. I REALLY appreciated that I'd made a note on the reso that we would be there on my wife's birthday. Didn't hear anything back so didn't expect anything. But a knock on our room door shortly after checking in....it was the owners with a plate of fruit and baked items and Happy Birthday in chocolate along with their singing too. You guys are wonderful. Thank you!

The location was fine and easy to find.

The location was fine and easy to find. The staff need to be more interested in the customers. One was very kind to give my husband ice for an injury he had sustained elsewhere but the breakfast and the service was poor considering it was quiet. The soundproofing between the rooms was poor..say no more!

The hotel was lovely and the pub had a lovely atmosphere.

The hotel was lovely and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. There is no where to walk to have a family meal you would have to drive or take a taxi which was inconvenient but we did get a take away. If we were to stay a second night we would have had to drive to have dinner. Also as it was a weekend you would need to book dinner in the next town as they booked up quickly.

Lovely comfortable hotel, breakfast was great too. Shame no evening meals provided however plenty of recommemdations left in room. Staff super friendly. Felt very safe there.

It is a cute little hotel. There is nothing else really in the village apart from the hotel. The breakfast was nice. It is a peaceful location. The bar is nice.
