My Mam and I came for a night for my Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Dinner was exceptional. We spent a cosy night int he bar with an open fire and slept so very well. Then started our next day with a delicious breakfast. I could not fault the place in the slightest.

Friendly owner and staff, very good breakfast, comfortable bar/restaurant with varied menu and pretty sea views; located on major business street with shops, pubs, and restaurants within easy walking distance; parking available on the street in front of the hotel for reasonable rate; located for lots of good day trips; small-town feeling with people who seem to know everyone else and are also friendly to tourists with whom they may strike up a conversation. Repeat visitor to this well kept and convenient townhouse. It has an ideal location next to the Clifden Station House, Lidl, and Aldi. Lorna is a top tier host. The rooms are spotlessly clean and there are many cozy amenities. If you are lucky enough to get Room 2 upstairs, it has skylights and a fantastic modern rainfall shower. WiFi connections are frustratingly spotty in Clifden, but this address must be next to a main junction because it is more than adequate if you're a digital nomad. I will happily return the next time I am in Connemara!
