Our stay at the apartment was truly exceptional. The place offers comfort, convenience, and congeniality. On arrival, we were greeted by the host who happened to be on-site then. Check-in is by way of digital codes. Instructions by text messages were clear, and a handwritten welcome message sat on the table. The apartment has all the necessary furnishings that made us feel like stepping into a home away from home. The place was immaculate like a new abode, spartan yet well-equipped with everything one might need. It was not superfluous nor cluttered with unnecessary frills. The kitchen had all the modern appliances and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals - electric hob, fridge, convection oven, microwave oven, etc. There's also a washer. There are three TVs in the living and bedrooms. A fourth in the dining room would have been extravagant. The high-quality mattresses and white bed linens remind us of the comfort and coziness of five-star hotel rooms. Without a doubt, we slept very soundly. The host's genuine care and readiness to answer any questions and offer help made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. The location was ideal. It's five minutes walk from the main bus station, and offers parking if you drive. Across the road is the town's shopping centre with Tesco as anchor tenant. There are ample eateries and shops nearby. Despite the proximity, we didn't hear the sound of traffic in the streets below. In summary, this apartment is nothing short of perfect, for us. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, cozy and convenient place to stay. We will certainly re-book this place when we come by this town in the future.

    Loved Letterkenny!

Loved Letterkenny! We were there at the start of July for the Letterkenny Blues Festival. Great atmosphere, fantastic music and all at venues up and down the Main Street, so never far to walk. Got to say I loved the pubs, all with efficient smiling staff! In fact all the locals we met were so friendly and welcoming. Honestly, that made a huge difference, I really hope that gets fed back to the community. Thanks for having us! We found plenty of places to eat lunch and evening meal, get coffee and cake as well as late night takeaway. Again all up and down the Main Street. Sadly we didn’t get much time to do anything other than go to the music gigs and meet up with friends but next year, if we can, we’ll put in a couple of extra days to do more exploring. I’m told the beaches further up are outstanding with beautiful white sand. An Irish friend of mine said she wasn’t over keen on Letterkenny at night but I have to say nobody at the festival, young or old mentioned feeling wary or nervous. Having said that, we didn’t really stray from the Main Street. We stayed in McGettigans Hotel towards the top end (lovely hotel, even has a car park!) Would defo book there again. I will be returning to Letterkenny, I loved it there. The music festival was brilliant, so accessible….many happy memories made ♥️

A great base for touring Donegal, but plenty to see and do in the town itself. Good shopping, great pubs and restaurants, sports centre so something for all ages. Town centre driving is difficult but lots of options to go round the town instead of through it. Parking us easy and cheap enough.

The Yellow Pepper Cafe was excellent, on the main street. Also the restaurant in the Radisson Blue hotel was excellent for family food and the waiters were super friendly. Lots of shopping options. Easy to get to Derry or on up to Buncrana/Malin or over west to Gweedore.
