The room was gorgeous. Huge comfy bed and a dressing room. Sky TV a modern bathroom. The breakfast had some much variety and was all fresh. The main thing however...THE HOSTS ARE SUPERB. Couldn't wish to meet nicer people.

It was perfect for our 1 night stay. Quite remote but we wanted somewhere quiet after our busy time in Kenmare and Dingle. Host was very welcoming, the coffee and cake on arrival was much appreciated. We had use of a sitting room which was great for us to chill out in.

I didn't get to meet the hosts, as we arrived back at the property late in the evening and left early the next morning. However, they were very accomodating by letting us check in early that day to get ready for our wedding. Very close to the Doonbeg Hotel - if you are attending an event there, it is about a 10 minute drive. Lovely view of the sea from the house. The rooms were very warm on what was a cold winter's night in the west of Ireland - so this is a big plus! Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean. Breakfast isn't included, but if you are just looking for a bed/room to stay in, then this is very reasonable option for the price. I would happily stay again if in the area.

We didn't spend much time in Kilkee as it was just a base...

We didn't spend much time in Kilkee as it was just a base for visiting friends and family nearby, but we did walk on the beach and did most of the cliff walk. It's a good base for exploring the Loop Head peninsula too, but we did that on a previous visit. I would definitely stay there again, although not in the same apartments.

Lovely beach and swimming, visited Hook Head Lighthouse ans saw lots of Basking Sharks gathered for mating season, amazing. Met some lovely locals who made us feel very welcome and had brilliant trad session in O Meara's bar. Will be back.

The beach is fab, we also did the Flying Alpaca farm which...

The beach is fab, we also did the Flying Alpaca farm which the kids loved. Visited Vandeleur Gardens which were nice with activities for the kids and a nice cafe. Had dinner one evening at Myles Creek and went to O"Neills Funfair arcade as it was raining.

This is a great base for touring the area but transport is...

This is a great base for touring the area but transport is required unless you are super fit for hiking or cycling! We stayed 3 nights which we thought was sufficient to cover the area. There are a number of independent shops as there are in other places in Ireland but good to see them, we have lost so many from our high streets within the UK. Just opposite the hotel is a deli that made great sandwiches to order at a reasonable price. Numerous bars in the area if you wanted to take in the ambience plus the hotel had a bar with a good selection of drinks. Clean beach with a number of people swimming despite it being cold, obviously hardy souls!

The hotel was excellent the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful the food was beautiful with gluten free options our room was very comfortable with sea views would highly recommend this hotel kilkee was stunning as weather was gorgeous with fabulous big beach and lots of walks had a great stay

Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs...

Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs safely and easily for a 1.5 mile walk each direction right from town. Town looks a bit in disrepair at times. Our accommodation was great with wonderful service including the restaurant below it. Parking was easy.

Lovely location and family room #1 we booked for 1 night, including breakfast. Excellent for the price we paid €135. The whole place was quite clean, with shining bathroom. Staff was quite helpful and welcoming. They seem to genuinely care for people and provide 5 star experience, not normal to see at other places. The location was good too, not far from the town centre and beach.

Everything! A warm and friendly welcome from our host, Valeria. Comfortable room with private bathroom and coffee/tea corner. Good mattress, towels, shower gel. An excellent breakfast, all freshly prepared. Parking for our car on the premises. Great location in a quiet corner of Kilkee. Can highly recommend the accommodation!

The accommodation was cosy and tastefully decorated and we really enjoyed our stay there. James and Lucy are really nice and very welcoming hosts. Communication both before and during our stay was top class. The location was excellent and very close to the Long Dock Restaurant which serves superb seafood.
