This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while.

This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while. The tourist office will guide you to great things to do! Guys on the Main Street is a good choice for eating. There are many restaurants to choice from. It’s easy to walk around the town and window shop. And if you can visit whilst the arts festival is on, that’s even better! You’ll want to return…

Located in a cute little town, with a FANTABULOUS bakery...reminded us of the former quaint Door County,USA. So good to be able to shop small, independently run/owned shops. Walshes Bakery and the Little Tin Shop were highlights. Also enjoyed dinner (MUSSELS) at Mannion's. Unfortunately, due to weather and schedule, we were unable to explore further. If not so far away, would definielty visit again!

A lovely small town full of fantastic bars and restaurants - you can't go wrong heading our for a drink or a meal - and great music too. It's the ideal base to explore north towards Westport or south to Galway city, and the spectacular scenery, friendly locals, and temperate climate made it an ideal holiday location

Spacious old style hotel with very good restaurant attached. The room and bathroom were large and the bed very comfortable. We could open our windows and the room was very quiet. The breakfast was excellent. We were able to park out the back of the hotel and also a great laundry service just 50m up the street. E J Kings opposite provided excellent pub lunches and we had a great night at Lowrys bar from 10pm for music ( also only a short walk) Clifden is small but this hotel is very central and easy.

The Woodfield hotel is centrally located in Clifden town. Warm clean comfortable room. Comfortable beds. A decent hot breakfast, not tight with tea or coffee. Delicious hot Mammy dinners served in their restaurant in the evenings. You can sense good staff morale. They are a good team. Lovely friendly staff.

Grand stay in a central location to Clifden. On street parking or alternatively the hotel seems to have a deal done with SuperValu across the street for overnight parking.
