It was incredible to find such a comfortable villa in such a wild location. The villa is not big, but it has everything you need. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. They even provide robes, slippers, breakfast items, and a fully stocked minibar, which is so convenient since there are no shops within walking distance. The location is unique, with a stunning view of the rice terraces—no houses in front, offering complete seclusion and privacy. There are no tourists around, so you get to experience Bali in its untouched beauty. We were welcomed so warmly, and they prepared an incredible surprise that I will remember for the rest of my life. There was a bird in a cage, which we were asked to set free as a symbol of liberation. It was so unexpected, yet so beautiful and moving! Another amazing thing was that you can walk down to the river and wander through the rice fields completely alone. The energy there is something else—I've never felt anything like it anywhere else! I left feeling rejuvenated in both body and soul. I fell in love with this place forever!

Amazing luxury ecolodge right in the slopes of Mount Batukaru run by a Balinese-adopted Australian family. Beautiful houses and architecture. Natural swimming pool, plus river pools. Being in the middle of nature, just jungle sounds. The best is all the community and environmental projects the lodge supports with the income they get, plus projects to preserve the rainforest. The restaurant serves delicious dishes and exquisite desserts. It was a bit out of our budget but for a few nights it was a dream to be there.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is a stunning blend of traditional Balinese design and modern comfort, creating a serene oasis that truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail, from the luxurious amenities to the breathtaking views, was meticulously crafted to enhance the stay. The staff at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa were exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel incredibly welcome and well cared for throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and provided invaluable local insights that enriched my trip. The surrounding area is just as impressive, offering a perfect mix of natural beauty and tranquility. Whether enjoying a quiet moment in the lush gardens or exploring the vibrant local culture, every moment was filled with delight. Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa is truly a gem in Bali, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

A little oasis into the green of this big garden well maintained. Everything was exactly like in the pictures. The food was good and the prices were too. The driver that we booked from the hotel is well prepared, and we did a lot of tours around the island to visit temples and the main attraction. Oemah Tepi Sawah is such a gem in Bali. If you want to experience non tourist Bali and some beautiful nature and serenity this is the place for you! So happy we stayed here and did a great jungle tracking (didn’t see one tourist). Although we still have some time left in Indonesia, we certainly believe that this will be the most memorable place we stayed. Dewi and her staff (shoutout to amongst others Putu, Iluh (thank you for the great massage 😍), Mika (best chef 🍚), Agus and Kadet (perfect jungle tour guide 🌱).They are all so caring and sweet and made us feel at home, thank you!!! Dewi has a beautiful garden with so much fresh fruit and vegetables. Such a better experience than another typical resort! We will definitely visit again when in Bali.

The absolute most authentic Balinese experience placed in the middle of jungle, palm trees and rice fields! We stayed right by the river overlooking the waterfall and the surrounding nature is breathtaking! The food is amazing with local and delicious ingredients. The pool area is beautiful and great for kids with a shallow end. Best of all was the our encounter with Made and the rest of the staff that made us feel like home away from home and gave us an adventure we will never forget and the kids had the best time! We love absolutely everything, great place for relax :) you are in the middle of the rice fields, nesa to the jungle. We had a great time there, all food was amazing - homemade with love, organic… Amazing place, thank you :)

What a view!!!! The place is in the middle of rice terraces and the breakfast while overlooking the view was unforgettable!!! Lots of stars during the night, I saw some fireflies for the first time in my life!! The world heritage - Jatiluwih rice terrace is about 15min drive away. I wanted to do a sunrise trekking and the owner was happy to take me there by motorbike before 6AM (he didn't mind at all waking up so early for me, how kind...!) Honestly, the sunrise trekking was AMAZING. He also took me to the waterfall & a natural hot spring with extra fee which was totally worth it! After breakfast, I requested to try "rice planting" which he and his family happily accepted. It was fun and a great experience! I only stayed for 1 night but if time allowed I would have stayed for a few more nights there. Highly recommended! Arigato Putu-san🙏🏻Terima kasihhhhh!

    The entire resort was wonderful.

    The entire resort was wonderful. This is not for someone looking for a 5 star resort but it is a 5 star eco resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings and wish we had had a longer time to do more hiking. The food was wonderful and staff went out of their way to be certain our stay was excellent.
