Very nice park before Cave bath. Due to fire cave bath was temporary closed. Nothing to do around. Shops- one was very close by Aurora very close. From outside looks very bad. Inside the same. Miskolctapolca is a small town, which has a lot to offer in every weather. There is an extraordinary Cave Bath and the Ellipsum Spa and Fitness. Once you have enough of bathing, you can try bobsled, rowing a boat or just taking a ride on a bike. Definitely recommend a visit to Lillafured by the forest train and a Miskolc Zoo. Easy to reach by car. Close to Miskolc by car. Amazing pools and thermal baths. Cheap prices. Not very crowded. Perfect for relaxing, walks and thermal baths. Nice local restaurants and bars. The Cave Bath was a real positive surprise to me because my expectations were a considerably smaller pools in the cave. An advice for everyone, if you'd like to have a snack or a meal you better leave the facility because pretty close to the entrance you can find acceptable value for your money. Inside the bath the service is chaotic and the food you don't want to eat. There are other spas and baths in the place beside the Cave Bath but we did not have the chance to try them. They seems to be pretty pricey. The place is not for party people because after 10pm you'll not find anything open. Another surprise (negative one) were the prices which are pretty much the same you can meet in Budapest only that the service is bellow the level you can find in the capital of the country.Guest review byCsabaHungary - 6.0
Thermal baths are old-fashioned but clean
Thermal baths are old-fashioned but clean I paid after showing the vaccination certificate . Many locker rooms, showers and toilets everywhere. The staff does their job very well. I did not like the exposure of young or old lovers everywhere in every corner especially in the cave. I thought it was exaggerated and I don't think children need to see so many love scenes.Guest review byRodi

The team was amazing and consisted of such nice and professional people. We had dinner twice during our stay and it was the best we've had in a long time. The breakfast was also really great. We arrived too early, but within twenty minutes our room was ready, which we really appreciated! I also want to mention I was pleasantly surprised that they made the bed and cleaned the room right after the first night. Don't hesitate to choose this hotel.
