Our stay was fantastic! Right from the start we were impressed as due to bad traffic on the way we were nearly 6 hours late to arrive, long after the office had closed! We were still welcomed with a smile and a key! We had aircon which was sorely needed and the entire place was just what we wanted, thank you! Even our two huskies loved every minute and were welcomed with open arms.

This is a wonderful, brand new hotel just opposite Zadar on the island of Ugljan in a small harbor. The staff is extremely helpful and motivated - both early check-in and late check-out were arranged for free within minutes. The service was also great (the breakfast could have been a little more extensive). The room was also very comfortable, the windows and doors completely blocked out the loud noise of the party outside. There are several beaches in the area within a few hundred meters for children and adults (deep water). Within a few kilometers on the island we found several small bays where there are only a few people and you can snorkel very well. We will definitely come back.

The apartment was spotlessly clean. Everyhing a traveller might need was catered for. The host and hostess were absolutely charming and went to great lenghts to ensure our needs were met, they even used a google translator to ensure we understood. Highly recomended.

We were greeted by the host and provided with all possible information about the property, the local facilities and sights around the island to maximise our experience. The property offers an amazing view of Lukoran bay, whilst sitting on a stone patio with swimming pool if the sea view is all you’d want! The local facilities offer a good range of essentials and then a few miles down the road is a bigger market with fresh cooked produce for an easy option. The sights around the island are incredible, from the multiple islands visible from the top of the islands to mosaic benches dotted around the island with great opportunities for sunset walks. Back to the apartment and host - two words sum up our experience - the best!

Dragan and his mother were very welcoming, answering queries quickly and making sure we enjoyed our stay. The elevated apartment has a great view of Preko, it is within 10 minutes walk of the port and less to shops and a good selection of places to eat. The apartment is really well equipped to live very comfortably for more than a week with a great kitchen and loads of equipment, big fridge and freezer with cold filtered water, and air conditioning in all bedrooms. There was plenty to do both near and far with bikes, SUPs and boats to rent, buses to other beaches as well as boat excursions. Just a short hop over from the mainland, this was an easy island to get to, we have definitely fallen in love with Ugjlan and the beautiful surrounding sea. We hope to be back soon.

    The island of Uglijan is an absolutely amazing island that...

    The island of Uglijan is an absolutely amazing island that is not yet heavily affected by tourism, so you are more likely to meet Croatian locals here. Easy transport to the island by ferry at a great price. The island also features attractions such as the Sveti Mihovil fortress and the 6th-century ruins of Pustograd. Crystal clear sea, lots of greenery, and friendly locals.

    The island is not as crowded as the tourist cities on the mainland. The ferry port, Preko, has nice restaurants and shops. There is bus service although it seems more sparse since there are a lot of cars on the island. We used it several times to get to Preko. Uber is unreliable. Cabs are available but it can become expensive if you have to use them a lot. A lot of people use bikes to get around. The island is not as hectic as the mainland so it was enjoyable.

    Ugljan is gorgeous: green, authentic.

    Ugljan is gorgeous: green, authentic. In the village of Ugljan just a couple of restaurant but of high quality with fresh food (you can also buy your fish in the morning market at the harbour). More restaurants in Preko. To visit the island is very easy, in 20 minutes you go from Ugljan to Preko. Strongly suggested the beach of Muline, Preko for the evening (more restaurants and bars than in the other villages of the island) and the S. Michel fortress at sunset.

    We stayed for a few nights with our baby, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The hotel is beautiful, fully renovated, super clean, and the pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoons. Our room was really spacious, which was great with a little one, and they even had a baby cot set up when we arrived, which we really appreciated. Ugljan island still has that relaxed, untouristy vibe, with so much nature and quiet beaches that felt like little hidden spots just for us.

    Everything was great! The beach is a few steps away and you can see it from one of the rooms. All of the rooms were spacious, the appartment was furnished with new appliances. The owner was very kind and offered us a lot of local info (nearby beaches, good restaurants...). We loved spending the evenings on the spacious terrace. One of the best beach vacations I have ever experienced.

    The location and home is incredible, the host is wonderful, the neighbour hood is very friendly and quiet. Beach bar with in walking distance, Ugljan town and harbour is only a short walk away. The house fully equipped for your stay. The grill area is a real winner even when raining. Overall exceptionally good holiday and bourse super comfortable for 4 adults(our party size)

    Super friendly hosts, Josip and his wife are wonderful and made our stay amazing! Good location, walking distance to the centre of Ugljan. Very, very clean, we couldn't find any dust! Good beds, even a baby bed was arranged (which the baby loved) well equipped apartment. We loved the barbecue and swimming pool. Overall 10 out of 10!!
