Lovely and very interesting island with amazing beaches nearby, great biking opportunities, historic places to visit, wonderful restaurants, friendly people and amazing sites around every bend. We stayed in the old town, in a building built around 1400, and explored from there. The old town was so fun and small enough that you could walk everywhere, including to the ferry stations, so the only time we used a car was when we took a day to drive to several beaches around the island, each one amazing.Guest review by4BeachcombersUnited States - 10.0

Just so easy to get around, Korcula is a jewel in the Croatian crown. With plenty to see in Korcula, three days also gave us time to visit local islands, beaches and wineries too. The climb to Korcula viewpoint (many steps of course) was well worth it and we got some amazing photos. So many great place to eat in the town, on the city edge above the water and in the alleyways. Beautiful Adriatic island.
Beautiful Adriatic island. Rented a bicycle and cycled from Korćula to Vela Luka on the main 118 road and back (97km). Roads are very narrow and at times felt motorists, don't all respect cyclists. We did a food and wine bicycle tour of Korcula which was the highlight of our trip there! So fun, great wine, awesome hospitality. On Thursday nights, there is a festive traditional dance performance we attended called The Mareska sword dance. It was great! I liked it but it may not be to everyone's taste. Staff were lovely and always helpful. The sea is only 5 mins away, through a hotel complex. There is a beach bar and water taxi into Korcula old town in daytime. Terrace outside the room which gets shade in the morning. Nice rooftop bar, but serving only snacks in the evening, no meals.
