I stayed here with this really nice family. They offered me dinner, coffee, cookies and bread. It was delicious. They were very nice and the place was very clean and they were extremely friendly. I highly recommend coming here. You go through a gated area, it feels very safe and secure. You get an entire bedroom and the bed is big and comfy. They have a big shower in the bathroom. Also with a refrigerator, microwave in the kitchen with stove and fresh water.

It was easy to make changes. The staff always cordial and willing to help at any moment. Doesn't have curfew hours, just don't be obscenely loud, be cordial and you would find it quiet and relaxing place to have a beautiful day and nights.

We were amazed with the beauty of the hotel and the surroundings! There are even colorful peacocks walking around! Their inner couryard is fantastic, they even have a fountain and a pond with Koi fishes there! We could have just stayed on the hotel grounds for a week and still would enjoy our trip..lol We might just do that in future. If you are looking for a low key, clean, beautiful place to stay Casa Búho is IT! And breakfasts are very yummy including local fruits! Uber drive to the center of Antigua is about 10 min and cost about $7-8. But above all we loved the staff there. Super friendly, and owners speak English! The hotel is just amazing. Small but beautiful, and with a lot of attention to detail. We loved it. The house has many spaces that are a pleasure to visit and the owners just a pleasure to deal with. It is also centrally located with plenty of "Antigua" around. We loved it.
