The hosts were amazing. Extremely nice and very welcoming. The room was quite large, equipped with everything you need and very clean. There are farms nearby and they brought us some cactus fruits. The location is also great, 10 minutes drive to Palaiochora and 1 hour to Elafonisi. You need a car to move around.

These apartments are the best I’ve ever stayed in. Just out of the centre but so easy to access everywhere. The family are amazing and delivered lots of lovely treats from their bakery, to us. The apartment is equipped with EVERYTHING you need. They are beautifully appointed.

A close distance from everything you are going to Palaichora but in a very peaceful surrounding. to everBy far the best thing about this property was the owner who went far, above and beyond the line of duty to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. We had wonderful time at Elafonisi thanks to our great host George. Apartment is walking distance from iconic beach. Lovely surprise on arrival first kit breakfast, lots of fruit, water. Really thank you for that. We will definitely come back😉

    The host is lovely.

    The host is lovely. She speaks a little English but her warmth and hospitality bridge the gap. Accommodation is spotlessly clean and spacious. Beds comfortable. Recommend for those happy to stay a short drive from Paleochora wanting peace and quiet. This is a large growing area so you will be in and around grow sheds. Still This is a wonderful authentic place.

    Kountoura Selino is more of an area towards the end of a seaside road at the Southwest part of the Crete islands. Driving out from the town of Palaochora, one finds along the seaside road a supermarket, camping ground, housings, some tavernas, beaches and beach bars along the road. Of the beaches, our favourite was Grameno beach, as it provided a facility with umbrellas at the wonderful sandy part, as well as a more beautiful wild naturist part settled among the dune and rocks. We saw wonderful sunsets there. A car is needed to get around the area. We were there in the first week of September, and it was rather quiet with few tourists, which we enjoyed.
