Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind.
Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind. I'd say it's more appealing for couples rather than young families, but that said, there are some things to keep the kids happy. Beaches are sandy with watersports and there is a waterpark, aquarium and Dinosaur park close by. If you want hussle and bustle, Gouves is not the place for you, it's a laid back resort with most places closing by 1am but a few remain open a bit later. Our room was spacious with a huge terrace offering a stunning sea view. It was tastefully furnished, very clean, and comfortable. Although the pool area was quite busy, we could always find a free sunbed. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, both at the reception and in the restaurant.
