The staff was very helpful and kind. We had a problem with air condition but very nice man who take care of technical things in the hotel, helped us immediately. Breakfest are very good with many different kind of food. It was clean. It was a nice stay and I can definitely recommend this place.

The staff was really friendly, we had to find quickly another room as our airbnb was a disappointment. They let us check-in and enter the room earlier as supposed. The tips that they gave us were to the point. Everyone was really kind and with the smile on the face, although they were working a lot of hours. The breakfast-buffet had a wide range of local delicacies. There was a bus station near the hotel, so that the centre was really easy to access.

Proffesional attitude receptionist Elisavet& Athanasios at all, mainly at solving my blocked mobile when I was nervous if mobile will be unblock.Athanasios was very calm it helped me to think possitive&Elisavet helped me open mobile and took sim card out,then mobile was activated❣️also big thx I had evening flight back home so Elisavet arranged it 👍 I can stayed in the room for extra charge because was out of season& it helped me much, could take shower before my long way & it was comfortable for me to keep my luggage in room take have a rest. The lady who cleaned the room make it always clean & bed & towels were always each day perfect prepared. She is doing her job exactly & mainly with 💛what I feld. And can't forget lady in kitchen too, was very calm and nice to me.The hotel was familiar, 'sweet little things' makes unique atmosfere,the place has own soul& charm. Restaurant in country style, cozy paradise garden which was oasis of peace, I felt like in paradise 🌴 there, perfect bar next to pool 🥃🍹, breakfast all you need ...quality juice, coffee, home-made bread was fantastic❣️reception in zen boutique style, all you need in one place. We took all-inclusive with our 3yr old. The food was ok, lots of varieties and different meals, one soup per day, salads and sweets. The fruits could be better and probably more available at the pool bar for eg. Staff is great, also the hygiene. The room is cleaned every day and they change towels and sheets regularly. Everything is super clean. The location of the hotel is great, next to the bus stop, and going to the Heraklion is super easy, there are buses every 10-15 minutes. Even visiting Knossos is super easy. The beach is close and there is a beach bar with sun umbrellas and beds, free of charge (only drinks to be paid).

    Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when...

    Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when there was a cold wind blowing and not all the places were open. However, there didn't seem to be many places to eat [not a problem for us as there was one excellent place, though would be a problem peak season] . There were a number of apparently abandoned and ill-maintained buildings, which made the place appear less attractive.

    The attention and care of staff was excellent, that helped to overlook minor imperfections. As a solo traveler I used to explore the island and enjoy the sights, people, fine smells of plants in the air, as I always do, mainly using a rented car.

    Reliable and frequent bus commute to the city centre, once you realise the bus changes its number on the way back (it's no 1 to the city and becomes no 6 on the way back - beats me!), and accept that there is always a traffic jam as you approach Heraklion. Allow good half an hour each way even though it's only 7 km. It's cheaper to buy a ticket at a supermarket rather than from a driver. There are mini markets open every day till late which is brilliant for those who arrive at late hours or weekenders. Quite peaceful in November. Petousis taverna was a major bonus, great food, nice atmosphere and not too crowded on weekdays. It gets really busy on weekends. Some other nice eateries nearby too.

    Everything was perfect and included with the hotel.

    Everything was perfect and included with the hotel. Sandy beach front property, large clean pool and roomy accommodations. The bus comes every 15 minutes it stops in front of the hotel which was convenient. We used it instead of our car rental to visit the city center of Heraklion, not having to worry about finding parking.

    Beautiful tavernas with delicious food, reasonably priced. Beach is great for families, quite a few cafes with pools, great crepe place though I didn’t try any. Really lovely town, a bit busy on the road but as this runs to Heraklion it is extremely convenient for buses to other parts of Crete, such as Knossos. Our trip was only four days so we will visit there next time!

    I had a fantastic stay at Vaya Suites in Crete. The room was spotless, beautifully equipped, and the jacuzzi was an extra treat that made the experience even more special. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming — a real standout. Marina at reception made me feel so at home both times I visited, which truly added to the experience. I also enjoyed the breakfast at their sister hotel nearby — a great selection and a lovely way to start the day. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

    The strongest point of the hotel is the easy access to the beach, the availability of plenty of loungers both near the pool and at the beach. The beach itself is also very nice, with soft golden sand and a great view over Crete's mountains. The attention and help of all the staff is also very commendable. I always got a solution for any problem or question I had. Also, the hotel's location makes it very easy to walk into any restaurant or to quickly catch a bus to Heraklion.

    Nothing much I can add to previous reviews so just a quick note re buses. To get to town or onwards to the airport you need to get bus number 1. To return from the airport or town you need bus number 6. Both stop just outside the hotel. You can by tickets in the hotel shop of for about a euro extra you can buy them on the bus.
