I know Uttoxeter because I lived and worked there in the late sixties early seventies. Obviously there have been many changes but it is still a lovely market town. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and the retail park is in the town not on the outskirts like a lot of places. A lovely place for bars and eateries, great cafes and traditional pubs. A lovely racecourse for those that enjoy a fun day out. Sallys cottage our accommodation was clean inviting and comfortable beds also on a quiet street great for good nights sleep. The whole place was just perfect, beautiful Outside area, quiet comfortable rooms looking forward to staying again Uttoxter is easy access by driving or getting a taxi around.
