The town itself is not particularly pretty, but the surroundings are lovely, and the volunteer run visitor centre, 'The Cottage' is great! We had a lovely stay at Mary’s apartment, after a 13 hour drive all we wanted to do was chill out as we only had 2 days to view a house, the thoughtful little touches all over the apartment made us feel very welcome and was very much appreciated. Rothes is a very quiet town.
Rothes is a very quiet town. There are no other restaurants in town. However the hotel restaurant is excellent. There is nothing to do in the town itself, but it is located in the heart of the scotch trail with many distilleries. Too many to visit in fact.Guest review byJohnUnited States
