I love the fact that it was so centrally located in Warlingham. Everything was just a short step away, including the fabulous restaurant downstairs. I also loved the simplicity of the room. Really elegant, really comfortable and really clean.

I ended up here by chance… my flight got canceled and all the hotels at Gatwick and surroundings were fully booked so I found this one on booking and arrived very late at night. The hotel was stunning, the bed extremely comfortable and Thomas at the reception made my day! When I woke up the next day I found up I had slept in the middle of a golf club lol I had breakfast on a sunny terrace and walked around the little forest. I wish I play golf so I could go back here! Simply amazing, peaceful and beautiful place!

The staff are amazing!! The front desk was very supportive. France (front desk assistant) was amazing at answering my questions and helping me sort out any obstacles. She was so kind! Manoj was a great guy, too. He was so helpful! He went full dad mode on my way out. He was concerned that I had breakfast and coffee before I left. Very much a family vibe. This hotel was very clean and the support staff were so kind and sociable when moving around the building. Everyone had a smile, and it seemed like those who worked their both took pride in the space and truly enjoyed connecting with guests. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to london. Close to the train but also surrounded by lots of food options. The breakfast at the hotel is also very good. They had a little of everything, so it didn't seem like you had to eat the same thing every morning.

    As we opened the door we were greeted by enormous heat and a...

    As we opened the door we were greeted by enormous heat and a very strong smell of aftershave.... One of our children needed the toilet and we found there was no toilet roll. After opening all the windows to get rid of the heat (it was only 20 degrees outside) we then started to see other problems with the property... The bed linen appeared unlaundered and looked dirty with many different hair types on it, the towels in the bathroom were wet, fridge was dirty, table and mirrors all smeary... The level of cleaning was so poor that the cleaner hadn't even seen someone had left their nasal spray next to the bed. We then realised that the heat was issuing from the boiler cupboard in the entrance hall. So much heat was coming out from under the door we started to be worried. We were supposed to stay in the apartment with our children. We noticed the only lock on the front door was a simple Yale lock that can be broken into simply with a bank card. We were so worried about the boiler and disgusted by the state of the apartment that we phoned the host but they were not contactable by phone so we made the decision to leave. We took what photos we could before assembling all our bags (we had many as this was the last stop on a longer holiday). It was already late at night so we wanted to find an alternative place to stay quickly. After being there an hour, between the dirt, the heat and the smell, we just could not imagine staying there overnight, we wanted to get out because more than anything we were really worried there was technical problem with the boiler. After we left we send a request for a free cancellation. Despite the host saying that they cared about their customers well being and safety they did not accept our request for a full refund not have they offered any kind of compensation to us. We strongly advise people to carefully consider their options before choosing to stay in this apartment.

    The transport system, buses and trains running into Croydon-Epsom and further afield run very regular, trains into London, the airport’s and the south coast run very regular too. The shopping in Purley for food and entertainment is good, plenty of green spaces and walks.
