This place had great views (even checking in at evening time) from our room. The whole place is very well managed with attentive staffs around all times to assist anything. The restaurant located in the hotel was also great, with a cosy living room to relax at before/ after the meal. Room was spacious and clean. As we had to leave for our roadtrip early the next morning, the hotel kindly packed our breakfast to-go (sandwich, fruits, crackers and a water) which we were very grateful for! Definitely saved us as we had a the 2+ hour drive and a 2 hour distillery tour coming up that morning.

I like the size of the single room with high ceilings. I liked the quietness, window curtains and I enjoyed the access to a swimming pool (wish its length could be longer), jacuzzi and sauna! The building is very old with its own character. Maybe the corridors look a bit 'scary', maybe some updating will help :) Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location to explore this little gem of Scotland! Thank you for a nice and peaceful stay :)

Pitlochry is a beautiful town, but now so many visitors you cannot get in any restaurants unless booked in advance and walking on the street is hazardous for anyone with mobility issues as you have to keep trying to avoid people not looking where they are going.

We stayed in the family room during August. It’s a simple hotel, with basic facilities which are quite dated. I suppose this why it’s competitively priced. The hotel is a 10 min uphill walk away from Pitlochry’s high street which is very convenient. It also has off road parking. Communication with the hotel staff was good and check in simple and fast. The breakfast area was nice (it’s a high rated indian restaurant at dinner time) and the Scottish breakfast we had was good.

The setting was lovely with views down the valley and a large expansive garden to walk around. It was both within Pitlochry, so handy for shopping, but also quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had table service and the meal enjoyable. We plan to use this hotel again if we go to Pitlochry for a break. We slept well and left relaxed so for us that ticks an important box.

The public areas were very spacious, especially the breakfast room with a pleasing, open outlook onto the garden. The bedroom was also spacious with a good sized bathroom. There is a long tree lined drive into the hotel, however it took around 8 minutes to reach the Pitlochry main street.
