I was traveling for work so didn't get to see as much as I'd like, but Otterburn is a great location for exploring Northumberland national park and surrounding areas. Unfortunately there is no public transport whatsoever to Otterburn and a taxi from Newcastle would have cost a fortune. Luckily we got a lift or it would have been problematic to get there. Only one pub (attached to the wedding venue) within walking distance. We went solely for a wedding. Otherwise not a destination we would have chosen for options to entertain ourselves.Guest review byLesley

Quirky decor and an amazing outdoor space hidden round the back. Bathrobes and artisan ground coffee in the room was a nice touch. The food was great as was the service. We had a fantastic evening meal and the breakfast was superb with plenty of choice on both menus.
