It's a quiet village with pretty Cotswold stone cottages, a pub, church and dovecote. A good location to drive to other villages nearby such as Bourton on the Water, Morton on the Marsh, Stowe on the Wold, Lower Slaughter and Bibury. No foodshops nearby though so take provisions and stock up when you find one. You definitely need a car here. We didn’t go to Naunton, but Bourton-on-the-Water is only 10 minutes down the road, a very popular place. Stow was just 20 minutes away. You are not without many options … Sudeley Castle is very close too.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom
