Overall, a wonderful stay at The Raven's Cliff lodge! My family stayed here for a week in two rooms which were quiet, comfortable and affordable. The restaurant was particularly terrific...the food was very tasty and filling! We ate many breakfasts and dinners here, the omelets were superb! Enjoyed getting to know the restaurant staff, and John in the mornings was especially friendly and hospitable! Highly recommend staying here to all who travel with families!

Parking places in front of the hotel, lovely room - bit warm though, but no problem at all. Bed very comfortable and the whole place - including the restaurant very dog friendly. Breakfast nice - nice staff. What else can you ask for, when traveling alone!

From checking in, to checking out, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious (double bed with sofa), clean, warm and a good selection of lighting options. The bathroom/shower were spotless and modern. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice for all tastes. Although the hotel is situated near a busy roundabout, the outside windows and the inside sliding window offered a great deal of sound proofing. We were never disturbed by the noise of the traffic at all. I would highly recommend this hotel for short or long stays. We stayed for a week and with the regular buses at the bus stop next to the hotel, it was a perfect and economical way for getting around, especially with a 'First bus weekly ticket' that we bought online. The next door super market is opened well into the night and does offer fresh warm food to take away and during the day, their cafe is open.

Not the property we booked and got moved to a property not...

Not the property we booked and got moved to a property not even listed on booking. Com . Damp rust on blinds window sills falling apart absolutely disgusting wouldn’t put a dog in there. Found out after having a man trying to get in asking how much we charged for sex that the next block had a brothel there. Police attended. I have photos to prove all this plus the evidence from the police as they looked round. We stayed in Bellshill and not mossend we didn’t complain as didn’t want any hassle and two women on our own. I wouldn’t recommend booking anything through this property owner. I have sought legal advice contacted rip off Britain and will be speaking to trading standards
