We were in Kilsyth for just one night on our way further...
We were in Kilsyth for just one night on our way further north, so we didn’t spend long in the town. We stayed at The Coachman Hotel which was great, and went to buy a paper from a newsagent in the high street in the morning - just two minutes walk from the hotel. We noticed are some thoughtful details, a nicely painted bridge over a small river, carved stonework, and it all looked very clean and tidy.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Kilsyth is a town full of history from the mines to the weaving. It should really have a museum in the main street. Colzium is a beautiful park with flowers and walks. We felt that the boat house management are really making an effort to improve the hotel. There is plenty of parking directly outside the hotel, a pleasant decking area too. The towels and bed linen were clean and good quality. there was plenty of tea/coffee etc in the rooms and nice toiletries. It was very nice and clean with a great bathroom. The Staff was very friendly. There were a big free parking lot behind the Hotel. The Restaurant at the Hotel is really good with a large menu.
