Pretty little town, with ancient origins, good footpaths and a couple of super pubs. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant. Gorgeous little village - we stayed there because we'd visited the Haynes Car Museum and had been go-karting during the day. It really was a perfect place to stay, nice large room, comfy beds, very clean, nice bar and incredible breakfast. Food was very nice at the hotel, breakfast was great even though it was a little pricey. Very friendly staff, from checking in to check out. Full marks to the receptionist on duty at check out who gave us an alternative route back to the M5 saved miles of driving, well done that girl. Beautiful old manor house with flagstone floors .
