We stayed in Nutach Cottage and it was perfect. It had a very 'The Holiday' vibe to it, especially in the cold cosy winter. Sarah allowed me to propose to my partner at her lakehouse (part of the property) and it was wonderful. The setting was stunning, the accomodation was warm and comfy, the local eateries were all written out and Sarah was a wonderful host. Thank you so much for giving us the perfect weekend.

Lovely place, very clean, tidy and warm. Very well equiped. Nice touches with the little mince pies and porridge being left. Dog enjoyed being able to run around the fields. We all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay! Couldn't of been happier. Such a lovely quiet place to have a relaxing weekend. The cottage is stunning and impeccably clean (and I'm OCD) and it had absolutely everything we needed inside and out. I also made 2 little mates that greeted me outside a lot.... 2 wee kitty's 😺😁 very friendly. Paul met us outside when we got there and was super friendly and polite! Always at the end of the phone if we needed anything at all which was very comforting as we had never been to holsworthy before. We met his dad too who was also lovely and we had a nice chat. Really nice family and made us feel super super welcome! Would go back in a heartbeat, I didn't want to leave!

We were in Bradworthy. Holsworthy is the nearest town. Holsworthy is an unspoilt 'locals' village, but the locals are very friendly and welcoming. A special shout out for the owners and staff at Balsdon's Store.

A short but excellent stay.

A short but excellent stay. The Rydon Inn was recommended by our hosts for our evening meal and proved to be a very good choice. Holsworthy is a small market town but has most facilities you could wish for. We enjoyed our visit.

The bed wasn’t too bad but I’ve never had a shower in my actual bedroom and a walk down corridor for toilet. The take away breakfast was a ham and mustard sandwich, I had a really upset stomach later in day, I don’t think meat was fresh, but I also had a meal from the local chip shop which I could only eat half of as it was awful, it just wasn’t my weekend 🤣

To be honest, for what we wanted to do the location was...

To be honest, for what we wanted to do the location was ideal. Our activity was pre-planned and not all local to Holsworthy. I can state that there were some very good walks with good views close to the town.

Our Shepherds hut was so cosy! 🛖 kindling & wood provided we didn’t need to bring tea, coffee, milk eggs etc 🤩 if only we’d knew :) there was olive oil too. All the basics provided, really clean, friendly helpful hosts. A rainy weekend here was great. It’s so green because it’s rarely stopped raining 🌧️ Great location, a teeny village close to Holsworthy. Dog friendly with fields to explore Winston in his element.

We stayed 2 nights in the apartment which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Monique sent me a message beforehand telling me where we could buy provisions in Holsworthy, it being a Sunday when we arrived. The courtyard garden is very secluded and if we had more time we could have tried the pizza oven or used the BBQ. A very nice place to stay, not far from Rosemoor and Bude.

The family were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The location was great for travelling to lots of places in North Devon. Holsworthy town has lots of facilities you need for self catering eg supermarkets, petrol station, pubs serving food and also a swimming pool and local market. The accommodation was beautiful and very well equipped and clean.
