We had a great stay! The most well-equipped and luxurious pod we've ever stayed in - it had absolutely everything you could need. Location was quiet and beautiful, and the pod was roomy and comfortable.

The cutest little stay. All the amenities were very nice and the bed was comfy. Excellent location in the countryside, with Dunvegan just a few mins away. Hosts were extremely nice.

The location is great, especially if you're not used to the tiny roads and driving on the left side. It's off of a main two-lane road, very easy to access but secluded enough that you really feel the atmosphere of Skye and not like a city holiday (Portree had the tourist vibe when we drove through). The Cabin is super clean and really modern, the pictures don't do the bathroom justice (hello rain shower and body jets) and the view is incredible. The hosts are really accommodating and on site for anything you need but definitely give you privacy. I'd definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a fantastic location, with a beautifull surround environment. The rooms were fantastic, with the key requirements to our family and fantastic view. Dinner and Breakfast was excelent, with a lovely attendance of all personal. We stay at the Gate Lodge, which was really special and a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. Great shower and extra large cast iron tub. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.

    Dunvegan was quite central to travelling across Skye for our various planned activities - whisky tour, puffin tour, walking Quiraing, Fairy Pools and Old Man of Storr. The two shops had enough for the grocery essentials and there were several cafes and restaurants to provide choice. The castle was interesting though a bit pricey.

    The town itself is nothing special, although it had several places to eat. I would recommend the school house restaurant only two doors away. Everywhere is a drive, but my experience was that each drive was a pleasure and all the key areas can be reached easily. Plan time to explore the north end of Skye...it's well worth it. I was particularly interested in birding and photography, both of which are of high quality in the surrounding area. I did not have chance to visit the other attractions on offer such as the Castle, although I did call off at Talikser Whiskey distillery, which I felt was worth a visit. I feel for the best of Skye, go north.....

    Dunvegan Castle and Garden is a must-visit.

    Dunvegan Castle and Garden is a must-visit. Very little traffic and easy to get around. Distances are deceiving because of the narrow windy roads - passing places are an experience! We had a great lunch at The Three Chimneys just outside Duvegan

    Surprisingly little there, used as a base for 3 nights, should really have done for 2. Dunvegan Castle nearby and worth a visit. Limited places to eat. Had to drive to get to anywhere including start of walks.

    Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time...

    Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time to explore! Check out the Angus McCaskill museum for some quirky entertainment; the School House for a wonderful, hearty meal; Dunvegan Castle for a fantastic history lesson and some great walking paths; Two Churches walk up to the standing stone; and Misty's for a quick bite and some ice cream. Easy-to-walk town with friendly people.

    Dunvegan is in a beautiful area of Skye and centrally located with easy access to the Cullins, and Portree. The weather was rainy most of the visit but we still managed to have a wonderful time and see the sights.

    Everything was perfect! A really nice, tidy and comfortable appartment, a wonderful view over the sea, good cooking facilities, a comfortable bed, everything there what we needed. Moira and Ronnie are such a friendly and cheerful couple, always there for giving support and recommendations! They even helped us when we had troubles with our rented car. Dunvegan itself is also a nice place and a great location for exploring Isle of Skye. We really enjoyed it and would totally recommend staying there! Thanks for everything!

    A truly wonderful place. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is available in this small house: a microwave, an electric stove, a fridge, and a hairdryer. The hosts sent detailed instructions on how to get there. There was also coffee, tea, and cooking oil available. The house was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The three of us (two adults and a 6-year-old child) felt very comfortable. Dunvegan Castle is located nearby. Thank you for two wonderful days on the beautiful Isle of Skye!

    Exceptional in every way. Baba is so welcoming that I felt right at home straight away. The apartment it beautiful, with everything you could possibly need and lots of nice little extras. Very comfy bed and spotlessly clean throughout. Baba gave some good ideas of places to visit, which were all great. I used this place as my base on Skye for 3 nights. Tom and Jerry, Babas cats are cuties. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. I would definitely stay again. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

    Lovely little cottage, bright and cheerily decorated. The location was 10 minutes off the main road on Skye, and was easy to find. So many lovely amazing nature walks right off the property with incredible views of the mountains, water, and windmills. There is a laundry machine and dishwasher. The information book was excellent - filled with lots of great Skye references and links. Kati was very responsive to all texts and quickly responded to any concerns we had.
