This is a gem. I was visiting The Figaro Shop and needed a place to stay. The idea of staying at proper English Pub was too good to pass up. This pub is the English version of Cheers. Everyone was warm and welcoming.

Everywhere was well kept, no litter anywhere.

Everywhere was well kept, no litter anywhere. People seemed to be very happy. The Railway Museum needs more signage ! There is a little sign pointing to a massive car park and you are expected to find your way to the museum from there. Great experience once we got there.

Didcot is a handy location and relatively close to Oxford. It has a good range of shops as well as places to eat and a cinema. There are also lots of parks and some areas to walk. I cooked myself and there are lots of good supermarkets to get fresh as well as precooked foods for easy meals.

We know Didcot and there is not a range of Hotels to choose from. We visited for a two night stay for a family occasion. The house is situated in a quiet residential area with an easy walking route to the town centre and railway station or for those less mobile there are taxis available. The house was clean, warm and comfortable the kitchen was well equipped and the access and communication was excellent.

I had an excellent stay at this apartment in Didcot. It was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with a well-supplied kitchen, strong WiFi, and a comfortable bed. The surrounding area had shops and amenities nearby, and the host was quick to respond when I had questions. It made my work/leisure trip much easier and more enjoyable.

The hotel had a relaxed feel with lovely interior design features. We loved the breakfast selection and the way it was presented with different breakfast options at different counters. You just helped yourself to hot drinks. We particularly liked being able to sit near patio doors that opened out onto the rustic patio and garden.
