Staying in Baslow is a delight, so easy to reach by road, the scenery is heavenly, the little villages quaint and welcoming, Chatsworth Farm Shop is superb - buy the Chatsworth Claret!! It's excellent!! and the salted caramel truffles utterly deelish!! A heart warmingly delightful place to visit, thoroughly recommend. A lovely village with lots of amenities and access to many walks through the glorious Chatsworth estate. We had a lovely family meal at the Wheatsheaf, lovely and very helpful staff, delicious food, and dog friendly.
