A friendly town, marvellous local produce, excellent market on Thursday and dining was excellent . An easy relaxing picturesque location. My third visit for the Dartmouth Paimpol Cross Channel Regatta . The marina staff are exceptional and the Hotel Goelo was a good choice to relax in after busy days and long late dinners. Recommend L'Escale , Terre Nuevos and Le Criee to eat at - the standard of service at each was superb and the food delicious.Guest review byLorraineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We were very impressed with Paimpol & the surrounding area, both coastal & inland, but in full season it could be very difficult to get around & park. There are plenty of shops & restaurants but we only ate home-cooked food. The ruined Abbey de Beauport is well worth a visit, with lovely coastal walking areas in and around the grounds. It also had excellent parking & a cafe. We would recommend a stay in Paimpol but not in the full holiday season.Guest review byKeithFrance - 8.0

Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours. There are plenty of shops and restaurants but we did not find any outstandingly good. It came to life on the Tuesday with a very large market which occupies several streets and squares in the town. Our host, Thierry, gave us the best and most varied continental breakfast possible and on sunny days we ate on the terrace in his beautiful garden. Thierry was very friendly and helpful.
