This property exceeded my high expectations—it was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! My only regret is staying for just one night; I truly wish I could have extended my stay. Everything about this place was perfect, from its stunning location (we loved the scenic drive from Paris through the idyllic countryside) to the exceptional hospitality at every touchpoint, from the lobby to the restaurant and bar. Every single staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Many were delightful to deal with. My room, which had a semi private little courtyard to sit out in the sun and watch the robins hopping around was large and very comfortable. There are many activities to choose from - unfortunately the weather was wet and windy, but there are many warm and cosy areas to sit in and enjoy a book or just watch the weather. The food in the restaurant is tasty, very French and fresh - some of it grown on site. They also have a very efficient laundry service which I appreciated as a traveller on the road for three months! I went for long walks and generally had a lovely relaxing time.
