The welcome was truly excellent. The staff were ALL very friendly, very helpful and excellent service. For example, the receptionist went out of his way to not only supply a well described map and codes for the secure car parking, but also came with me to ensure I'd found the right location and knew how to operate the entry point. AND there was a lift to our room on the 2nd floor - in our experience not many Logis hotels have that facility leading to a well appointed room We were able to eat at the hotel - even though we'd been warned by them that in view of a recent death in the family (Anne's son) they may have to close the restaurant on Saturdays, they had got over the logistical problem, and we had a superb meal. Would definitely return

Room was very cosy and warm with everything that you need. View from the hotel is great. Very nice stuff and perfect French cuisine. Do not hesitate to order something to eat. It is just delicious.

Laissac a surprisingly busy village, and the range of shops...

Laissac a surprisingly busy village, and the range of shops confirmed that. There is, what seems to be a very large animal market (that's a guess - we forgot to confirm that guess !!) which may be a factor in the town's situation. The main road (N88) by passes the village, so no worries about being disturbed by all night traffic.

Staff were excellent! We arrived early on our bikes and the friendly staff allowed me and my dad to leave our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready.
