Considering the amount of UK travellers using this hotel the receptionist on arrival had no command of English, I accept this is something we should not expect bu it did create check in difficulties. The next morning receptionist was much better and we could communicate with him much better and he was extremely helpful and friendly. We have used this hotel before - for a stop over en route to somewhere else. It is approximately 2 hours from the tunnel and close to the main road which makes it an ideal location for this purpose. The hotel is basic in terms of what it offers but this is to be expected - it is a budget hotel and very very reasonably priced. The rooms are very clean, the bedding was nice quality. Overall I would say this represents great value for money. There are two nice restaurants within walking distance.
